If you are interested in applying for a position, you can download a copy of the application form for that position. Late applications will not be accepted. The Council cannot accept responsibility for emailed applications which are not received due to technical difficulties within the closing date/time. Criminal Convictions Disclosure (All applicants)
The Council requires all applicants to complete a Criminal Convictions Disclosure Form.
You should download the document 'Information on the Rehabilitation of Offenders (NI) Order 1978' carefully before completing the Criminal Convictions Disclosure Form.
You should complete the Disclosure Form as accurately as possible and return in a separate, sealed envelope marked 'Criminal Convictions Form - Confidential' along with your Application Form and Monitoring Questionnaire.
The sealed envelope will only be opened in the event that you are being considered for appointment to the position applied for. Any conviction disclosed will only be taken into account where it is considered relevant to the particular post applied for. In such circumstances, arrangements will be made with you if clarification is required on any information provided.
*Positions that involve working with children/vulnerable adults
These positions are governed by the Protection of Children and/or Vulnerable Adults (NI) Order 2003. Before appointing anyone to such a post, it is Council Policy to ask for the relevant check to be carried out by AccessNI as part of our normal recruitment procedure. Such positions are denoted (*) in the table above. These positions may require either an Enhanced check or a Basic check depending on the duties and responsibilities of the post. A check will only be carried out if you are considered to be the preferred candidate and are being offered an appointment.
